Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially granted Apple a new patent that expands on a possible next-gen hinge system for Apple s Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro that may include a keyboard, touch pad or even a second display. The new multiple roller hinge system would provide users with more flexibility in angling the iPad to their liking as opposed to today s single angle design.
Earlier this morning Patently Apple posted an IP report titled "A new Apple Patent Reveals an Exciting Highly Configurable Modularized MacBook-Like Computing System." Apple s engineering team is on a creative roll with a second patent application this morning from the US Patent & Trademark Office that relates to a new hinged iPad keyboard accessory that provides multiple installation modes that could deliver superior flexibility for users.
