Iowa City Police identify suspicious death victim
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWWL) The Iowa City Police Department has identified the victim in a Sunday, May 16 shooting as 45-year-old Frederick Rumble.
According to the Johnson County Medical Examiner s Office, the preliminary autopsy results show Rumble died from gunshot wounds in a homicide.
Police responded to the Sandusky Drive and Taylor Drive area early Sunday morning on reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, authorities found a vehicle had collided with a tree. Officers determined that Rumble had multiple gunshot wounds.
Rumble was transported to the University of Iowa Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and he was later pronounced deceased.
