Tavitha Sanders Wooten is a Generation X girl who was born alongside her twin brother on April 27 in a small rural community (Falcon), Buckner Arkansas. Tavitha attended Stamps High School, now consolidated and known as Lafayette County High School. Tavitha graduated Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian in the 1985 Stamps Yellow Jacket class. In August 1985, Tavitha attended Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, AR. With a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science, she earned her Bachelor of Education in 1989. Tavitha s first paid teaching position was at Lewisville High School, followed by three years as a math teacher at Stamps High School. Tavitha s love for working with children allowed her to return to Southern Arkansas University and earn a Master of Education in K-12 Counseling. In 1994 (to date), Tavitha began her career journey as a counselor in the Camden Fairview School District. Tavitha is married to Benjamin Wooten, owner of Wooten Electric, and is the proud mothe
