Orange Business Services to expand IoT offering with Ericsson s new cyber security service Thursday 3 June 2021 | 18:38 CET | News Ericsson said that it has closely collaborated with Orange Business Services (OBS) on the development of an IoT cyber security service supporting mission-critical, industrial and enterprise environments. This new addition will be available to OBS customers, under the name of IoT Services Controlled , as part of the operator s IoT cellular connectivity portfolio ( IoT Managed Global Connectivity ). The latter is based on Ericsson s IoT Accelerator platform, which now integrates the cyber security management automation capabilities of the Ericsson Security Manager .

Telefónica Deutschland has struck deals with both of its main rivals –
Deutsche Telekom and
Vodafone – to share their ‘active’ networks in hundreds of so-called ‘grey spots’ where only one of the operators currently has 4G coverage.
