massively over a hired. interest rates are obviously a worry here. there is a chance the feds scores its own goal if it feels the economy is too strong it needs to raise rates even further and the businesses start worrying about things like interest rate costs, borrowing costs and maybe future investment capacity. then they start cutting workers. that still could happen, but i really don t want to underplay that for the past year or so the economy has been doing much better than a lot of people have been predicting. it s a real strong economy. as you said, for now it is a real strong economy. we are unclear what the future looks like, but so far it s working. tracey, good to see you as. always tracy alloway. when we come back, with a struggle pan tony evers outsmart to republicans and increased school funding in his state for the next 400 years. 400 years. i m here to discuss governor

so you re saying a lot of this hiring, legitimate, but people have been hiring because they think in six months it s gonna be much stronger and then they won t be able to get workers, so they re getting them now, and if anything turns around, they ll find themselves with too many workers on their hands. that s exactly it. we need activity to keep going or ideally improve to justify some of this hiring. but again, i don t want to down pay the trajectory of the drops gains that we have seen so far because for 30 months we have seen this momentum continue, and it s not entirely clear what would be the turning point that would make all businesses wake up tomorrow and realize we massively over a hired. interest rates are obviously a worry here. there is a chance the feds scores its own goal if it feels the economy is too strong it needs to raise rates even further and the businesses start worrying about things like interest rate costs, borrowing costs and maybe future investment capacity.
