Ilupeju/Gbagada ICAN district moves for growth

Punch Newspapers Sections Nike Popoola The Pioneer Chairman, Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Gbenga Omidiji, has said that the district will focus on membership growth, among others. He spoke during the inauguration of the district and his investiture as the pioneer chairman in Lagos on Saturday. The event was attended by members of ICAN and other prominent stakeholders in the country’s financial institution. He said, “As the pioneer chairman of this district, I consider it a rare privilege to provide leadership in conjunction with my team for the next one year. “In our quest to support the institute’s efforts geared towards ‘Repositioning ICAN for greater visibility’ for the 2020/2021 presidential year, we have decided to focus our attention on the following key areas within our coverage areas;

ICAN Charges Members on Integrity

President of the Institute, Dame Onome Adewuyi stated this at the inauguration of Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society (IGDS) of ICAN and Investiture ceremony, recently. Adewuyi, who charged members to always represent the institute well while discharging their duties, urged them not to compromise the ethics of accounting profession for all manners of gains. Also speaking, the Pioneer President of IGDS, Gbenga Omidiji restated ICAN’s commitment to community and national growth.
