At around 10:18 a.m. Sunday, dispatch received a report of a person lying on the Foothills Trail near Horsetooth Reservoir who first responders found dead, according to a release from the department. The Larimer County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 64-year-old Fort Collins resident Paul Gallenstein; the release did not include any additional information regarding the cause death.
