A Morgan County deputy who just underwent an intestine transplant is back on the job!
The sheriff s office shared a photo on Tuesday of Investigator Caleb Brooks back at work this week.
Over the summer, he was severely injured when he was gored by a bull. In early December, he was in Cleveland receiving post-op care following the transplant. Read more here.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - After a long road to recovery, the Morgan County Sheriffâs Office Investigator that was hurt by a bull returns to work this week.
Caleb Brooks said he is glad to be back doing what he loves most, protecting people after his small intestine transplant less than a month and a half ago.
âI am feeling good,â he said. âItâs amazing how God works things out. Heâs got a plan, and I am fulfilling this plan.â
