The former waste management executive accused of funneling $1 million in bribes to ex-Public Works director Mohammed Nuru has agreed to plead guilty to a federal fraud charge, officials said Wednesday.
Paul Giusti, 65, is the former community relations manager for the San Francisco group of trash company Recology and the latest defendant tied to a City Hall scandal to strike a plea deal with prosecutors and agree to cooperate with investigators.
