The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has joined the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) in strongly condemning the request by seven governments to legalise spying on journalists through the European Media Freedom Act. The IFJ and EFJ call on the European Parliament and the European Commission to reject this illiberal and repressive request.
