Bereaved families to be offered funeral webstreaming from Inverness Crematorium

Sign Up Bereaved Highland families are to be offered the chance to have their loved ones’ funeral streamed via the internet. Staff at Inverness Crematorium are preparing to offer the free service, with trials starting by the end of this week. Crematorium staff, funeral directors, or private individuals will film the funeral service and use wifi connections or mobile internet to broadcast it live. In Inverness, one camera will cover the catafalque and lectern and the sound will be recorded through the PA system.
