The immediate past Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central, Inusah Fusieni, has kicked against calls for change in the Minority’s leadership in Parliament.
Mr. Fuseini feels any leadership changes within the Minority, which is made up of the National Democratic Congress caucus, will be the “height of stupidity” on the part of the party.
There are concerns the Minority is facing a leadership crisis with some NDC loyalists calling for an immediate overhaul following the disputed approval of some of President Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees.
Inusah Fuseini not the only person calling Mahama President elect – Amaliba defends
Ghanaian lawyer and member of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) legal team, Abraham Amaliba has defended Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini for advising former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama to declare himself president-elect.
According to him, regardless the MP speaking out of anger and frustration, he is not the only person who believes ex-President Mahama is the legitimate President-elect of Ghana.
He noted that the ordinary Ghanaian is even calling President Akufo-Addo the president select whilst referring to ex-President Mahama as the President-elect.

Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini appears to have landed in the ‘bad books’ of some Ghanaians who have totally disagreed and condemned his advice to National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
Mr Fuseini, whilst speaking on Pan African Television, recommended a ‘parallel government’ approach for the former president who lost his bid to regain the presidential seat in the just-ended December 7 polls.
He suggested, that a self-declaration by the former President, will send a fair message to the president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his ruling government, and will re-echo the NDC’s decision to reject the declaration by the Electoral Commission.
