Cinco de Mayo marks the Mexican army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on 5 May 1862, and Intertops Poker is commemorating the event by allowing players to enter their own thrilling poker battle.
The Cinco de Mayo Tournament gets underway on 5 May with a series of satellites at 9:15am Eastern, 1:15pm and 5:15pm. The buy-in is $0.90 + $0.09. Those victorious in battle will earn a seat at the table for the main event.
The Cinco de Mayo Main event starts at 7:05pm Eastern and sees players compete for their share of a $1,500 GTD prize pot. If you suffered defeat in the satellites, you can buy-in to the main event for $20 + $2.
