CHATSWORTH, Calif. The newly-renamed Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG) calls upon adult industry performers, producers and other stakeholders to join a meeting Wednesday evening on the subject of the recently introduced U.S. Senate bill known as the Stop Internet Sexual Exploitation Act.
The new bipartisan bill was rolled out Friday by Senators Ben Sasse (R-NE) and Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and proposes a litany of staunch regulations it aims to impose upon all adult websites.
The APAG meeting will be held via Zoom at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET Wednesday. As our industry and sexual freedoms are under scrutiny, it is important for our community to stand together, the organization said in its announcement of the meeting. As we have in the past, we know how important it is to act quickly and get in front of our political allies and foes to tackle issues.
