Trade Court Upholds Anti-Dumping Duties On Chinese Garlic
Law360 (April 19, 2021, 9:27 PM EDT) A U.S. Court of International Trade judge upheld anti-dumping duties Friday on fresh garlic from China over a challenge from a Chinese exporter, finding that the exporter had not been upfront with the U.S. Department of Commerce about its U.S. sales.
Court of International Trade Judge Gary S. Katzmann denied Qingdao Sea-line International Trading Co. Ltd. s request for judgment on the agency record and sustained Commerce s final results, finding that Commerce identified many inconsistencies in Sea-Line s reported U.S. sales price even after probing the company for more information.
