Digantara, in collaboration with various partners, is part of the Maitri mission to manage space debris. The company aims to enhance space traffic management and monitoring of Resident Space Objects in Low Earth Orbit.
Digantara: Maitri will demonstrate progress towards space debris management and a sustainable space future, as per a statement from the Australian government. It will incorporate an Australian built Orbital Servicing Vehicle launched on a dedicated Indian launcher, it said.
