It was a busy past few days for staff and volunteers from Tralee International Resource Centre (TIRC) as they put together special ‘Christmas packs’ to give to the asylum seekers living in Direct Provision Centres in Tralee and who spent Christmas far away from their loved ones.

Bank of Ireland has announced the next recipients of grants from its Cost of Living Fund. The donations are targeted at groups including children and families at risk, older persons, domestic abuse charities, those with disabilities, lone parents and migrant communities.
