MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A $10K grant has been given to the Fire Museum of Memphis by the International Paper Foundation. The grant was given to continue the student voucher program that started in October.
The grant allows one parent and one child from a Mid-South area school to come to the museum for free. Families who visit the museum will social distance in a safe and sterilized environment, according to the Fire Museum.

The Pensacola MESS Hall is distributing free Kits for Classrooms to provide elementary teachers with engaging, hands on science lessons for their students, thanks to help from two local organizations.
Two different kits, one focused on the science of light and the other focused on the science of water, target learners in 3rd and 4th grade. Both kits will be provided for free to twenty-five local high need schools thanks to generous support from Ascend Cares Community Impact Grant and International Paper Foundation.
Each kit contains the instructions and materials for fifty or more students to explore and discover. The kits are designed to be used for many years to come.

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA (January 11, 2021) – The International Paper Savannah and Port Wentworth Mills will award IP Foundation grants in 2021. Representatives from both facilities will host a free virtual workshop to review the application process with interested nonprofit organizations and federal entities. The workshop will be virtual via WEBEx, and is scheduled for Tuesday, February, 9, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Interested nonprofits must reserve a seat by Monday, February 1, 2021, to receive the participation link.
