The public is invited to the International Overdose Awareness Day Event in Nelson Wednesday, August 31 at Cottonwood Falls Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Schedule of Events includes a Vigil Event from 1-2 p.m., honouring of loved ones who have passed away due to the overdose/drug poisoning crisis Community sharing event with stories and speakers and Indigenous and local support.
