Several venues are already packed with bookings for weddings, corporate functions and social events
In the coming days, you can be attending your best friend’s wedding in Dubai or buying front-row tickets to the concert of your favourite band that is if you are fully vaccinated.
Live event venues and wedding halls in the emirate are springing back to life, nearly four months after safety measures were tightened because of Covid-19.

Nanjing CIMICEC conference hears MICE industry recovery rate in the region reached 67% in 2020
The China International MICE Conference (CIMICEC) attracted 500 domestic and international industry leaders to the eastern city of Nanjing, 15 April.
The conference was hosted at the Nanjing International Expo Convention Center and discussion centred on the theme of ‘MICE makes for better cities’, both in an economic and social sense.
The conference opening ceremony was attended by Jin Weidong, president of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; Wu Yang, deputy director of Jianye District of Nanjing; Xia Jun, vice-president of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.

Step 2 of Phase III reopening, which gave indoor event and performance venues the green light to begin welcoming the public back into their spaces at 50% capacity.
Assuming the downward trends in hospitalizations and infection rates continue, Phase IV reopening will begin on March 22nd, allowing even the largest event venues, like ballparks and stadiums, to initiate a capacity limit of 12%.
