The International Indigenous Hip Hop Award Show was on the long list of events rescheduled last year due to COVID 19.
But luckily for us, the IIHHAS has determined and adaptable organizers who reworked the show into a streaming format, with some of today’s biggest names in Indigenous Hip Hop performing throughout the 2-day, online event.
Ms. Christie Lee is not only one of the artists taking the “virtual stage”, but she’s also one of the people who helped create the show.
She’s here tonight to talk about its inception, some of the artists nominated for awards and how you can vote for them, and how you can take part in the event when it airs May 22nd and 23rd.
