Bangladesh celebrated its Independence Day today, with President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paying rich tributes to the Liberation War martyrs by placing wreaths at the National Memorial at Savar, on the outskirts of Dhaka.
Dhaka: Bangladesh Muktijuddha Mancha recently hosted a demonstration-cum discussion session on Saturday in front of the National Museum in Shahbag, Dhaka, against the alleged genocide of 30 lakh people by the Pakistan Army during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, media reports said.
