IAEA to hold conference on nuclear fusion May 05, 2021
VIENNA The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will hold its 28th conference online next Monday on the latest developments in the field of nuclear fusion.
In a statement, IAEA Information Department in Vienna said that the five-day conference is considered the largest of its kind in the world, and would offer promising hopes for the provision of safe and carbon-free energy
During the conference, leading experts in fusion science and technology development will give more than 100 scientific presentations where they will discuss the progress made in fusion research and technologies, with a focus on the French nuclear organization readiness to conduct the largest fusion experiment in the world.

Seven countries and two international institutions have so far expressed interest in participating in the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, Minister Shinji Inoue announced on Tuesday, February 9.
The 7 nations are Yemen, Greece, Djibouti, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Mali. In addition, the International Fusion Energy Organization and International Solar Alliance have said they will be part of the event, which is organized around the theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
Inoue, appointed minister for the international event, acknowledged the notifications, saying: “I welcome those official expressions of participation. I appreciate it.”
