According to him, in modern conditions, countries should stand united against the rewriting of history. “We have no right to remain silent when they put in one row invaders and liberators, destroy monuments to fallen Soviet soldiers and glorify Nazi accomplices,” the state secretary said.
The congress calls on the international community and, first of all, the United Nations Organization for a comprehensive and objective assessment of the current events in the countries where fascist ideology is being revived.
A plenary session and a breakout session will be held at the Central House of Officers on 18 August. Thematic exhibitions will be running near the Central House of Officers during the congress.
