The chief nurse at the Interior Ministry Central Hospital in Warsaw was the first person in Poland to have been vaccinated against the coronavirus on Sunday. I am proud to have been chosen to be the first one, Alicja Jakubowska said.
The Interior Ministry Central Hospital in Warsaw received on Sunday 75 vials with coronavirus vaccines, which will make it possible to vaccinate 375 persons.
A further four people employed at the hospital were also vaccinated on Sunday.
Later on Sunday, hospital physicians told reporters that the vaccine will be fully accessible to Warsaw residents, and that the Interior Ministry hospital will open a vaccination centre at the National Stadium.
