Alleged Conversation Containing Death Threats against Zaev Posted Online
Death threats against PM Zoran Zaev and his family can be heard in an video posted on YouTube on Wednesday. The alleged conversation, according to the person who posted it, is between Jane Cento and Goran Angelov, who are among those convicted in the 27 April case. It allegedly took place on Sunday, when the protests to support those convicted in the case was held. Skopje’s Prosecutor’s Office is following the developments. During Wednesday’s session for parliamentary questions, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said there had been a murder scenario on 27 April 2017 as well. According to information of his, there was an operational plan called The Wild Angel, prepared in the frames of a party that was supposed to take place in the plenary hall.
No-confidence Motion against Interior Minister Spasovski Rejected
Parliament rejected on Monday the no-confidence motion against Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski filed by Alliance for Albanians and Alternative MPs. 60 MPs voted against, 10 were in favour, while there were no abstentions.
“The motion is strange because it concerns the successful operation to arrest former Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration Director Saso Mijalkov,” Spasovski said. According to him, the motion represents a genuine picture of the opposition’s distorted system of values because there has been a series of successful police operations over the past period. SDSM explained its MPs would not deliver addresses because the motion is groundless. VMRO-DPMNE MPs left the session. They added that they would file a no-confidence motion against Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi because he had not accepted their list of speakers. The Parliament Speaker responded by saying that the submission had
