VERY High Winds Expected For Bangor & Downeast Christmas Eve & Day
Rudolph will be earning his carrots tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Southern Penobscot, Interior Hancock, Central Washington and both Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties. The High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. Christmas.
Winds will come out of the south at 25 to 35 mph and will gust as high as 60 to 70 mph, depending on where you are. You can watch the winds gust via the Rainwise.net gear located at the summit of Cadillac Mountain on Mount Desert Island, or by logging onto Windy.com.
