Women of Ebenebe Community in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State have protested against the state Governor, Chukwuma Soludo’s sacking of their women leader, Mrs Favour Nworah, for allegedly supporting the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 general elections. SaharaReporters gathered that Nworah, who had occupied the position as the community’s Women President General of Ebenebe Town Union Women Wing (ETU WW) since April 2019 was sacked by Governor Soludo in April 2023, a few months after the 2023 general elections.
