WWE s Sasha Banks Takes Down Reginald In a Surreal SmackDown Match
✖
Last week Sasha Banks told Carmella she could have another shot at the title as long as she got Reginald in the ring one on one first, and the deal was accepted tonight. Banks and Reginald hit the ring to face off against each other, as Carmella sat with the commentary team with some champagne. Reginald kicked things off by offering a rose to Banks, and then he asked for a kiss. Sasha went to slap him but he caught her hand, though she hit him with the other hand.
WWE SmackDown Ratings For January 22nd Show
This week s WWE SmackDown ratings and viewership figures are in, and the show saw one of its steadiest figures across the broadcast s two hours in recent memory. According to the overnights published to Showbuzz Daily, SmackDown averaged 2.284 million viewers for hour number one and 2.280 million viewers for hour number two. Therefore, the average viewership for the show came in at 2.282 million viewers. If this number holds (final figures will be released on Monday), it would be up slightly compared to last week s SmackDown which averaged 2.262 million viewers.
In terms of pure viewership, SmackDown s 2.282 million ranked eighth place across network television on Friday night. The show was defeated by all other prime time programming on ABC, NBC, and CBS, including Shark Tank, 20/20, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., Blood Bloods, The Blacklist, and Dateline NBC.
Winfree’s WWE Smackdown Review 1.08.21
Hey everyone, welcome to 411mania’s LIVE coverage of WWE Smackdown. Tonight there will certainly be stuff happening, like Big E defending the Intercontinental title against Apollo Crews. The ongoing issue between Kevin Owens and Universal champion Roman Reigns will no doubt continue to build, and that has produced some genuinely good segments thus far. Also the recently named Dirty Dawgs (Ziggler and Roode) attacked the Street Profits last week, because there isn’t another relevant tag team on the brand to challenge them so we’re getting an endless rehash of those two. But seeing the Profits go more serious might be a welcome change of pace for them. So with that in mind, let’s all see what WWE has in store for us tonight.
