Doha: The Inter-professional Education Committee (IPEC) in Qatar University (QU), which QU-Health oversees, organised the third Inter-professional Education (IPE) activity for the academic year 2020-2021. The event, which was held virtually, aimed to teach students how to be effective team players.
The activity saw the attendance of 137 students and 16 facilitators from various professions, including medicine, dental medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rehabilitation sciences, and public health.
This IPE activity aims to introduce the importance of team communication and decision-making within the health care environment. This activity emphasised the fact that all health care professions are equally important.
