ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Monday has said that the brave soldiers of security forces have sacrificed their lives to defeat terrorism.
Talking to media, the minister said that the police personnel have ensured peace in the country by risking their lives. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is organizing again from Afghanistan, he claimed.
Sheikh Rashid further told that Karachi and Islamabad are under terror threats.
The reaction came after at least five terrorists were killed in encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Mastung on Sunday night.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Security forces killed four terrorists during Intelligence Based operations (IBO) in North and South Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted IBOs on terrorist hideouts in Data Khel and Zoida areas of Waziristan.
During exchange of fire, four terrorists including TTP commander Abdul Adam were killed.
Terrorist commander Abdul Adam was involved in more than 20 terrorist activities against Security Forces.

(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Three terrorists have been killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) by the security forces in North Waziristan tribal district.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the IBO was carried out in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. The operation was carried out over credible information about presence of terrorists. Three terrorists associated with Aleem Khan Khushali group were killed in the operation.
The ISPR said these terrorists were involved in target killing, kidnapping for ransom, extortion and attacks on security forces.
Militants were driven out from the tribal districts in military operations, but still terrorists sometimes attack the security forces from their leftover hideouts. The security forces also conduct IBOs after receiving credible information about presence of militants to ward off any threat of attacks.
