Macys says a change in the retail landscape has forced it to change its strategy. So instead, the company is going to open 15 new bloomingdales and 30 new bluemercury stores. Thats giving a little bit of relief to the bond market. The 10 year yield is higher but only to the tune of about two basis points. Thats relatively quiet relative to what weve seen earlier this week. All eyes are on ai and and amazons annual letter. They say the Cloud Infrastructure will become an essential part of the ai move. They are optimistic that much of the world changing ai will be built on top of aws. We have more details. It makes sense that they would want that to happen.
