[applause] good evening and welcome to new hampshire. we are live here with cnn s town hall with former president donald trump. i m kaitlan collins, tonight president trump is here as he embarks on a campaign unlike any other in the history of u.s. presidential elections. he s the first former president in more than a century to seek a return to the white house, and he is currently leading the republican field while also facing multiple criminal investigations and an indictment. just yesterday he was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation. no questions are off the table and we agreed to no conditions. we are here to give voters the answers that they deserve. our audience is made up of republicans and undeclared voters who planned to take part in new hampshire s republican primary. they will get the chance to question the former president directly. these voters and the issues that they care about the most will help decide if former president trump will get a second cha
on. the deadline is noon, but it could happen before then. the justice department has been ordered by a federal judge to release a redacted version of the affidavit used to justify the fbi s search of mar-a-lago, again, by noon today. it could come out earlier. the affidavit lays out why investigators believe there was probable cause that crimes had been committed. and in his order that came out yesterday very quickly judge bruce reinhart said the justice department had made a good argument for why portions of this document that are behind the mar-a-lago search should remain shielded, saying, quote, disclosure would reveal the identities of witnesses, law enforcement agents, uncharged parties, maybe the investigation s strategy, direction, scope. sources, methods and grand jury information. the judge agreeing with the justice department s requested cuts as we are learning new details about what s happening inside trump s legal team and the advice that he is getting from a
