CSC confers PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to Angeles City Philippine Information Agency 13 May 2021, 00:38 GMT+10 ANGELES CITY, May 12 (PIA) Civil Service Commission (CSC) conferred the Bronze Award under its Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) to the city government of Angeles. During the online awarding, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, who received the award in behalf of the city government, said this is a recognition of the city s effort to further enhance the delivery of service to Angelenos. On behalf of the city government, I would like to thank CSC for extending their full support to the local government in its goal of providing a high standard of service to its constituents - one that they truly deserve, Manuel said.

DTI Lopez calls for transformational leadership

Lopez today called for transformational leaders in government with crucial traits in integrity, competence and energy (ICE) specially in this pandemic period where the country continued to wallow in hunger and unemployment on prolonged strict quarantine restrictions. What will public service delivery look like?” These were the questions posed by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to all  heads of government agencies, as it cited the pressing need for the public sector to come up with recovery strategies for a post-pandemic world. CSC to launch Kwentong Lingkod Bayani in Jan

(CSC / MANILA BULLETIN) The CSC, through the Civil Service Institute (CSI), will launch the Kwentong Lingkod Bayani, a monthly forum on values program showcasing the exemplary performance of government civil servants demonstrating the public service values of Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence, and Spirituality (PIES). “The course, to be delivered via Zoom webinar, is free of charge and can accommodate 500 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The first run will be on Jan. 8,” the Commission said in a statement Friday. Also being offered by CSC is Public Service Values in Times of Adversities, a workshop that aims to enable participants to strengthen and harness PIES, especially in this time of pandemic for the enhancement of their organization’s capability in pursuing strategic leadership and management.
