After being allotted incharge of departments, the newly appointed ministers, advisors and MLAs have been holding coordination meetings with their respective departments. Apart from this, departments also organised felicitation programmes to welcome the ministers and advisors.
DIMAPUR Minister of State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) and the department of Rural Development (RD), Metsubo Jamir, has stressed on the need to restructure and streamline the activities of SIRD and RD department in order to enable the two departments complement each other and work hand in hand towards a common goal. Jamir stated this during an introductory meeting organised by SIRD held at its computer lab in Kohima on April 11. He congratulated the officers of SIRD for their achievements in recent years and stated that he was impressed with the professional approach of the officers while carrying out the various programmes and activities assigned to the department, a DIPR report stated.
