From Commonwealth's Attorney Justin Griffith:

Today the Pulaski County Circuit Court accepted a plea of Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity in Commonwealth v. Mangekian. This disposition was agreed to by The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and supported by the investigating law enforcement officers. Our beliefs were validated by a written medical opinion from the Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
