Christina Villegas is a Senior Fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum. She holds a Ph.D. in Politics from the Institute for Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas. Her dissertation examines the theoretical foundations and legislative history of the Violence Against Women Act, and she has written extensively on the law for different outlets including Independent Women’s Forum, the Heritage Foundation, Townhall.com, and the Huffington Post.
Christina co-authored the book “Hard Drive: A Family’s Fight against Three Countries,” which chronicles her family’s fight for truth and justice in the mysterious death of her cousin, electrical engineer Dr. Shane Truman Todd, in Singapore after he refused to participate in the illicit transfer of military grade technology to the Chinese company Huawei.
