Two men charged with historical sexual offending have appeared in the Waitakere District Court, charged with sexual connection with a young person. Police said the men is among a group of three to have charges filed. Ron Mansfield acting on behalf of one of the 24-year-olds sought a remand without plea and interim name suppression, which was consented by police. Another 24-year-old appeared shortly after and was also remanded without plea and granted interim name suppression. The pair are co-accused of jointly offending with another man of having sexual connection with a young person under 16 between December 2012 and February 2013.
