At approximately 12.30am on Thursday, February 18, Met Police officers stopped two vehicles on Addison Way as part of a pre-planned intelligence led operation which was supported by specialist firearms officers. Both vehicles were searched and a revolved handgun was recovered. Four men, aged 23, 24 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm. They remain in custody at an east London police station.
