POLICE have charged a 34-year-old woman with the murder of an eight-month-old baby boy.
Detective Inspector David Briese told media it was âno great breakthroughâ that led to the outcome but rather a âmeticulous management and investigationâ.
That investigation, which lasted more than a year, was triggered after the infantâs body was found at a house on Sonter Street, Raceview on June 21 last year.
Detective Insp Briese addressed media in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon, following the womanâs arrest.
He said paramedics discovered the childâs body last year after they received a call from someone at the Raceview home.
