Police are offering thousands of dollars in exchange for information regarding a toddler who went missing near Queenstown nearly 30 years ago. Amber-Lee Rose Cruickshank was last seen at a property in Cornwall Street, Kingston, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu on October 17 1992. The two-year-old and her family had been staying at the property at the time and were socialising when she went missing. On May 5 this year she would have turned 31 years old.  Police on Tuesday announced a reward of $100,000 for information or evidence which leads to the identity and conviction of those responsible for her disappearance.

$100k reward for information on toddler Amber-Lee Rose Cruickshank s mystery disappearance

There is someone out there who holds the key to the truth. Over the past 29 years, police have explored a range of possibilities for Cruickshank s disappearance, however, no leads have come to fruition.  Det Insp Harvey said police are hoping now someone will come forward and provide her family with some closure. Her mother and family members have been left to worry and angst about what happened to this very young child for far too long. We want to bring them answers. The offer of a reward will remain in place for six months. Police may also consider immunity from prosecution for an accomplice who provides information or evidence.
