IRELAND is set to sizzle as temperatures to hit 17C as Met Eireann forecast a good deal of dry weather .
The national forecaster revealed there will be a light to moderate westerly breeze but also noted some areas will experience scattered showers.

The downpours will mainly affect Ulster, Munster and south Leinster.
Met Eireann said: A bright start to today with spells of sunshine and well scattered showers. Further scattered showers will develop through the morning, mainly in Ulster, Munster and south Leinster. However, there will be a good deal of dry weather and it will feel mild in the afternoon sunshine, particularly across the midlands.

CERVICAL screenings have been delayed this week due to the HSE ransomware attack.
It comes after all IT systems were closed down as a precaution last Friday.

Work is being carried out to restore the systems but it may take several weeks to complete after a Russian cyber crime mob gained access.
The HSE has said GPs will contact those affected by the changes. FEW WEEKS
A notice on the HSE s website reads: Screening appointments may be changed this week (May 17).
