was no question that there needed to be an independent investigation of the possibility that an obstruction of justice had happened in the firing of james comey. that s why an independent counsel was appointed to look into the origins of that conflict of that conversation and the notion there is some connection between the firing of andrew mccabe and the potential firing of mueller is insane. i use the word insane advisedly. you think it s insane to think the firing of mccabe is in any way connected to the firing of mueller in the future if it happened, that they re not setting it up? their claim is that mccabe was fired for the mishandling of classified information and for speaking to the press in a way that was not acceptable and was beyond the brief of anyone in the fbi. that s their claim.
many other students from other schools across south florida, and many of them will be joining us there. what do you think is the main objective of joining this march? what do you and the students of stoneman douglas want to get out of this? i think as far as the march itself, i think we want to register with our elected officials that time has come for change. they don t want the same old stuff, and i ll use that word versus another, as far as answers sos, you can pick another word. we re not the titanic going down, hopefully we re going to use as far as the titanic going down. we re giving a warning to our elected officials and they may be on the titanic or in the life boats. i guess we ll see how they respond. i teach american history. ju one of the things i ve taught and try to teach my students,
additional information did they have access to that everybody else doesn t have to. that s the breach, that s the conversation there. based on the reporting this seems different than the ads that you re doing to promote your show because you re buying you re making an agreement with facebook and they re saying here is the data we re giving you. all the reporting indicates that facebook was misled, that it was told this would be for academic purposes and more data was pulled out than facebook was led to believe. they didn t go in the front door. cambridge analytical isn t the one that said we need a huge database, can you work with us? they went through the back door. final word. the final word on this, i want to go back to what john said. john makes an important point, look, this is marketing. there are more data points now than there ever have been for marketers to use. they re going to use them in politics as well as commerce. the point is, though, when we have political acto
up until this point he hasn t. they said they would let the investigation go on and give mueller everything he asked for. at 8:35 a.m. this morning, trump tweeted out, why does the mueller team have 13 hardened democrats, some crooked hillary reporters and zero republicans. another dem recently added. does anyone think this is fair? and yet no collusion. why does the president seem so much more emboldened? i agree with grace s assessment. but i wouldn t use the word emboldened here. i think what s happened is the president feels more vulnerable than he s ever felt. you have mueller now asking him questions in advance of potentially interviewing the president. mueller has requested documents from trump s organization. more and more people are speaking to the special counsel. the president is more cognizant of his legal vulnerability than anyone. even more cognizant than mueller himself who knows a lot more than any of us know.
