Spin Outlaws held their auditions/trials in Cape Town recently, where the region s top spinners were decided. More than 70 spinners attended the event, with the cream of the crop advancing to the regional shootout that will be held on 27 March 2021.
Of the advancing 24 spinners, Insaaf Brenner is the only female to have made it through to the next round, and she is confident that she will advance to the national finals in Cape Town on 2 October 2021.
Brenner said: I m so overwhelmed and excited to be part of Spin Outlaws. It is allowing me to showcase the talents of female spinners in Cape Town. I want to inspire more females to do this motorsport and not feel powerless in a male-dominated sport. As females, we must be fearless, enjoy ourselves, and have fun.
