A Virginia school board member who refused to support a 9/11 tribute also wanted to ban terms like radical Islamic terror and jihadists from classes about the terror attacks, it has emerged.
The comments were made Thursday by Fairfax County board member Abrar Omeish, 28, in reference to the Day of Remembrance for the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.
