The Health Ministry’s National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) has received the clinical data on the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech, says Khairy Jamaluddin. The Science, Technology and Innovations Minister said the decision to use the vaccine from the company lies with NPRA and the Health Ministry upon the completion of the registration and approval process. “The process has begun and all data that has been supplied by Pfizer-BioNTech will be looked into by NPRA. “The supply of Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech is expected to be received in the first quarter of next year comprising 12.8 million dosages to help immunise 20% or 6.4 million Malaysians, ” said Khairy in reply to Lim Guan Eng (PH-Bagan) during Ministerial Question Time.
