Maliau Basin first to get Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification | Daily Express Online

Yayasan Sabah Group (Maliau Basin Conservation Area) was awarded the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) certification, Tuesday, the first to receive the international recognition in the country.  Yayasan Sabah Director cum Executive Chairman of Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd (ICSB) Dato’ Sri Haji Gulamhaidar Khan Bahadar received the GSTC certification from Regional Managing Director, Vireo Asia Pacific Danny Ng, in a ceremony at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Tuesday.   Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Abidin Madingkir, who witnessed the presentation, said the certification makes Maliau Basin the first destination in Malaysia to receive this international recognition.   “Congratulations to the Yayasan Sabah Group management.
