Viagogo, a website for people to buy and sell tickets for music, sports and other cultural events, say the Bill is “unconstitutional” and it will see more people ripped off.

The Sale of Tickets (Cultural, Entertainment, Recreational and Sporting Events) Bill is expected to be signed off by Cabinet in a matter of weeks.
As part of the new law, anyone found to be reselling tickets for events for more than their face value could face a prison sentence of up to two years and/or a €100,000 fine.
