Your Bowie County Sheriff's Department sends us the list each week but here is a sobering thought, you know who is getting that list each week as well. The first full week of December brought us 55 arrests. Of which, Bowie County Deputies made 25 arrests, and the remaining 30 were made by other law enforcement agencies and turned over to Bowie County.
Your Bowie County Sheriff's Department did more than just arrest people and serve warrants last week, on Saturday, December 2, they, along with the New Boston Police Department, New Boston Fire Fighters, and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers all participated in the New Boston-area Shop with a First Responder event at the New Boston Walmart. Our thanks to Paula Cole, wife of Bowie County Sheriff Deputy Curtis Cole and unofficial photographer for the BCSO for the use of the pictures from the event.
