tax plan, it will become more popular as the years pass, as the days go by. are you concerned that the momentum to repeal it will overcome the desire for the american public to repeal it later on? well, again, i mean there is a portion of this tax cut that accrues there s no doubt that the doubling of the standard deduction is going to provide a benefit to some people. i would hope that when democrats win control of the house and senate, and sit down to design our own tax plan, we would preserve benefits for people that are making those true middle incomes. this bill is going to provide a benefit to some americans, it s only temporary, it only lasts for about six or seven years, where as the corporate tax cuts are permanent. the inheritance tax cuts are permanent. i think we ll preserve those benefits for middle income people, make them permanent and maybe even double down on them.
